Onderwater Tandems
Great fun to ride, these special bikes designed by Ronald Onderwater steer from the back seat and have a free-wheel mechanism for the child pedallers seated in front. Keep your children in sight with an uninterrupted view ahead for everyone. These models are a great success for carers of special needs children who unable to pedal on their own – the sense of participation is positive and rewarding, and in some cases balance is improved. Pedal cranks and seat post lengths can be customised to fit riders of all sizes.
Both models can be fitted with an extra toddler seat in front of the adult rider, and/or a toddler/ junior seat at the rear, with the option to add panniers.
Onderwater Tandem TA4: 1 adult & 1 child pedalling

Onderwater Tandem XL: 1 adult & 2 children pedalling
The most fun bike in our collection! Two children can pedal along or freewheel when they get tired: a NuVinci constantly variable rear hub is fitted as standard which means no clunky gear changes, and you can put in the right pedalling effort for the terrain.
The bike can also be turned into recumbent with child (up to 10yrs) at the front, by removing the rear set of child’s pedals & seat, and fitting a bucket seat with swept back handlebars.
